Wow, time sure does fly. It seems like only yesterday that he and I were no more than 5 years old and playing "Dogs", pretending to be imaginary canines, and going around barking. And in just a split second, we're about to reach adulthood, and have to face problems like this:
GETTING A PROM DATE
Some of you are now probably thinking of which girl or guy to ask to the prom as you read this, while a majority of you probably already have someone in mind. Despite being in only Form 4, I've already started worrying about attending the Prom dateless and sitting at a corner by myself while my friends have a partner each. Oh the sheer horror! T^T
I've had the thought of asking Amanda in mind since form 2, but somehow I know that she'd go with someone else, cutting my chances down 75%. And now that she's gone to America, my chances are 0%. She wont even be around for the next prom, though she'll be back for awhile during June next year. So... I guess I might as well find someone i'm fascinated with at the moment, and try to become close friends with that person if I want to ask them out to the prom next year. Who's that person? Well... I've already got someone in mind, but I'm not telling =p

I've gotta start being super nice to my target now. But here's the question:
A prom is one of the last chances among your friends to attend a formal event, dress up in your best clothes, hold that person you admire by the hand and walk along other couples. Girls get to flaunt all their beauty that night without being called a slut, and guys won't be considered LOA for dressing up in a tuxedo. Who will YOU share that night with?
